Who we are?IDA is an international independent non-governmental organization providing medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts, natural disasters and epidemics regardless of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.IDA was founded in 2012 by Syrian doctors from Aleppo in response to the healthcare and humanitarian crisis in Syria.IDA Syria is the main healthcare provider in the Northern Aleppo-Syria area, working closely with 500,000 IDPs and 700,000 host community through 20 healthcare facilities and other health and nutrition projectsDuring the last year, IDA has provided 1.2 million services in Health, Nutrition, WaSH and Camp ManagementThose who are shortlisted shall be invited to attend online interviewsThe Case Manager will be responsible for supporting patients in accessing treatment at Turkish hospitalsThe role includes providing translation between Arabic and Turkish, assisting patients during hospital visits, managing medical appointments, and maintaining accurate records in the organization’s systems.Responsibilities:Providing individual and group sessions and conducting evaluations to determine the appropriate intervention.Identifying the psychosocial needs of the most vulnerable people and their caregivers.Providing relevant awareness-raising sessions and engaging the community to understand and meet their needs.Ensuring continuous follow-up and measurement of goals.Ensure the implementation of standard protocols in response and follow-up.Preparing safety plans for each case.Respect and adhere to guidelines, including maintaining a safe, friendly and fair environment within all activities.Providing necessary and sufficient information to the beneficiaries and the community.Organizing recreational activities for adults and children.Participate in supervision and training when needed.Ensuring close coordination and collaboration with the protection team and providing continuous support.Document any safeguarding concerns and report them to the line managerPreparing weekly and monthly reports and sharing them with the line manager.Commitment to completing all tasks requested by the line manager.Strict adherence to the Code of Conduct and IDA policies, including the PSEA and SG.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in psychological counselling, psychology.At least 4 years of experience in the same position.Experience in dealing with individual cases.Experience in implementing PSS group sessions.High knowledge of methodologies used in mental health and psychosocial support interventions.At least 3 years of experience in humanitarian work.Fluency in Arabic is required-English and Turkish are an advantage.Good IT skills, including Excel and Word, and PowerPoint.Complying with IDA Code of Conduct and PSEA PoliciesIndependent Doctors Association does not tolerate sexual exploitation and abuse, and is committed to acting professionally and ethically.Independent Doctors Association is zero tolerance with any SEA caseIDA is creating the best environment to make sure that all staff have understood SEA and how to report in case there is any suspected case
